Resident Assistant / Caregiver: 3-11 Shift . Small , quaint community.

Duties:

- Provide direct care and assistance to residents in a nursing home or residential care setting.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and document residents' vital signs, symptoms, and behavior.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by following established protocols and resident rights.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper lifting techniques.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.

Skills:

- Experience in caregiving or working in a nursing home or residential care setting.
- Knowledge of systems and procedures related to resident care.
- Familiarity with resident rights and regulations governing long-term care facilities.
- Ability to provide compassionate care to individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds.
- Proficiency in basic first aid techniques.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices and behavior management strategies.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required for the position).
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment for residents.
