Assurance of Hope Community and Mental Health Agency (AHI) is a community-based core agency. KEY FUNCTIONS:

The primary role of the Mental Health Assessor is to conduct biopsychosocial assessments for the purpose; of gaining background information from the individual’s perspective and diagnosing mental health disorders as well as identifying learning or intellectual disabilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS

• Complete biopsychosocial assessments, individualized treatment, and safety plans.
• Collaborate with assigned therapist/paraprofessional on caseload regarding identified goals to support the development of individualized treatment plan.
• Complete documentation training to ensure understanding of services rendered.
• Provide referral recommendations based on individual(s) needs.
• Traveling Required.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Credentials (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC or Advanced Licensure, etc..) (Preferred but not required)
• Minimum: Master's Degree in Psychology/Counseling/Social Work/Human Services or related fields.
• Knowledgeable of Therapeutic Interventions/Techniques.
• Knowledgeable of DSM-5 ICD-10 Codes/Diagnosis

Reporting To: Clinical Director

Job Terms: 1099/Full-Time /Part-Time/ Fee for service

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
