Job OverviewAs a Safety Technician, you will play a vital role in updating safety programs and providing support to construction operations. This entry-level position offers a valuable introduction to the safety field, working closely with an experienced Safety Director to ensure a safe work environment for our Team Members.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with field operations to maintain a safe workplace
- Resolve safety issues using independent judgment
- Work under the direct supervision of the Safety Director
- OSHA 10-hour construction certificate
- Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field (preferred)
- Experience in heavy civil construction or related field
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety
- Familiarity with Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Goal-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish, English/Portuguese) preferred
- US Citizen with a valid driver's license
