Job Title: LPN Unit Manager

Location: St Johnsbury, VT 05819

Shift: 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, Saturdays and Sundays

Guaranteed Hours: 32 per week

Contract Duration: 6 weeks with possible extension

A leading provider of skilled nursing, medical, and rehabilitative care in St Johnsbury, VT.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff on the assigned unit.
• Coordinate and manage daily nursing activities, including admissions, assessments, and care planning.
• Monitor patient/resident care plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Conduct rounds to assess resident/patient conditions and address any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Participate in staff education and training programs to promote clinical excellence and professional development.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of patient/resident assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Vermont.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.21 - $57.51 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
