Heidi Go is Hiring a PCA Personal Care Assistant Near Sacramento, CA
Pre Nursing, Nursing, Pre Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy, Gerontology, Social Work, or Pre Med Students Preferred.
This is a job share with other students helping a very busy professional with a disability.
Tasks would include AM and PM care, meal preparation, perineal care, assistance with bathing/showering, dressing clothes on and off, grooming (brush hair in the mornings), laundry, vacuuming, light housekeeping, and companionship. Need to know how to use a hoyer lift for transferring patient from bed to commode to wheelchair. (Training will be available if you don't know how or need a refresher).
Hours available: (you don't have to work all hours, these are just the times person needs assistance) You basically can pick your own hours depending on your schedule, very flexible.
Mon-Fri: 6:00am-8:30am, 8:30pm - 11:30pm (3hrs) can be done in 2.5 hrs depending how fast you work. Also if you need to come later, flexible with time so you can come at the latest like 10pm or 10:30pm and work until 12 midnight or 12:30.
Saturday: AM shift getting her up in the morning is 8:30am-10:30am (again flexible with time if you don't like waking up early you can come at 9:00am and work until 11:00am or whenever you finish)
PM shift is 8:30pm-11:30pm.
Sunday: AM shift 8:30-10:30am (flexible)
PM shift 8:30pm-11:30pm (flexible)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
