Overview:

Under the general direction from the CEO, with support from the Vice President, the Community Relations Director assumes the overall responsibility for Sales and Marketing with an emphasis on establishing and maintaining relationships with high schools. This includes already established relationships as well as procuring new relationships via grants and traditional means.

Duties:

• Ensure effective communication to Leadership team regarding marketing, sales, and schools relationships
• Develop and implement marketing plans
• Organize and manage a successful networking and community outreach program
• Effectively track and cultivate all prospects
• Effectively track and cultivate all prospects
• Monitor and manage the marketing budget.
• Set, track, and accomplish goals on a timely basis for completed calls, mailings, leads generated, appointments set, presentations, and closings as outlined within the Monthly Marketing Plan
• Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with Principals, superintendents, athletic directors and Parent Teacher Organizations
• Schedule and attend lunch room visits at participating schools
• Provide tour training and customer service training to staff
• Create and provide oral reports and meet as directed with the CEO
• Conduct effective sales meetings
• Submit recommendations to the CEO for the budget completion, equipment, and supplies
• Manage all digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, social media, email, and display advertising campaigns
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Marketing Manager or similar role
• 2-5 years experience in sales and/or marketing.
• Proficiency in HTML5, WordPress, email marketing platforms, social media marketing tools, e-commerce platforms
• Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts including SEO and SEM
• Experience in managing Google Ads campaigns
• Knowledge of print advertising and its impact on marketing strategies
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relevant field
• Proven experience developing marketing plans and campaigns
• Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
• Ability to write grants.
