Spherion is Hiring a Driver / Installer Near Roswell, GA
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-owned trucks (over 26,000 lbs) to deliver furniture and materials to job sites.
- Ensure furniture and materials are loaded properly for safe transport.
- Load and unload trucks as required, either independently or with a crew.
- Maintain all necessary records for the truck (parking tickets, fueling, cleaning, inspections).
- Properly dispose of project site trash.
- Assist in the installation of various commercial office furniture (systems furniture, casegoods, seating, etc.)
- Help identify and solve installation problems.
- Perform other tasks to support the overall team's installation operations.
Skills
- Ability to safely operate company delivery trucks.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy furniture and materials.
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch frequently.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience1-4 years
Qualifications
- Experience in furniture delivery or installation (or similar).
- Experience operating box trucks (over 26,000 lbs).
- Experience with furniture assembly.
- Clean driving record.
