The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of the payroll cycle, including tax, benefits, garnishments, and reconciliations. This role ensures compliance with federal and state tax regulations, union contracts, and financial reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with weekly payroll processing, union payroll, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate employee records.
• Administer child support and garnishments.
• Reconcile and process payroll for multiple pay cycles.
• Handle prevailing wage/certified payroll.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll reporting as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to all members of the organization.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience processing multi-state payrolls with varying frequencies.
• Experience with union and construction payrolls is preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and reconciliation.
