Company is a machine shop; CNC and manual machines.
Work Hours:
Monday thru Friday 6am to 4pm. Saturdays 6am to 11am. 55 hours per week
Pay Rate: $28-34/hr
Summary/Objective
The Maintenance Technician/Machine Repair position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and preventative maintenance systems including processes to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.
Primary Functions
Troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of CNC machines and manual metal removal machines; manual grinders.
Troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic components.
Use tool room equipment to repair parts.
Read prints
Experience Required
5 years in machine repair
Experience repairing CNC Machines
Proficient with Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic diagrams
Prefer experience with Mattison and or Thompson surface grinders
General machining and grinding proficiency with tool room equipment
Good communication skills
Good organizational skills
Proficient with predictive and preventative maintenance programs and systems
High school diploma or GED.
