Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for patients with mental health disorders in various healthcare settings.
Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Prescribe medications and treatments
- Monitor patients for changes in behavior, symptoms, and overall mental health status
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options
- Provide therapeutic interventions and support to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing (BSN or ASN)
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Previous experience in psychiatric nursing preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities
Skills:
- Familiarity with outpatient psychiatric care
