Miche Victoria Interior Design is a full-service interior design firm based in Northern California, serving clients throughout the Sacramento region and beyond. At MVID we strive to help our clients achieve their dream home.

We are looking for a candidate to join our team and take the role of Junior Designer to be responsible for working within a team environment, collaborating directly with the Senior Designer, and to support the designer handling any relevant procurement/purchasing needs for each project. The successful candidate will be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Assisting Senior Designer with the execution of all project goals through all design phases.
• Design Planning - create design plans based on project scope and desired aesthetic.
• Independently formulate designs under the guidance of the Senior Designer.
• Prioritize tasks and coordinate completion of projects.
• Develop, prepare and produce quality presentations and prepare senior designer and team for client presentations
• Work independently on pricing furniture & materials for clients and create client proposals.
• Take initiative, problem solve, collaborate & communicate effectively with the Senior Designer.
• Maintain vendor relationships and maintain the library of materials.
• Manage ordering process: order product, manage follow up /tracking & updating FFE sheets.
• Development of furniture packages.
• Develop, prepare and produce quality presentations and prepare senior designer for client presentations.
• Assist with furniture installations.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented
• Amazing communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have a reliable car with a valid drivers license
• Excellent knowledge of applications such as Word and Excel
• Adobe Photoshop & Canva
• Interior design: 2 years (Required)
• Drafting Skills (CAAD): 2 years (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
