Shifts Details
- 8am-4pm
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop and implement behavior intervention plans.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals with behavioral and developmental disorders.
- Collect data on client progress and behavior, and maintain accurate records.
- Implement behavior management techniques and strategies to address challenging behaviors.
- Assist clients in acquiring and improving skills in various areas, such as communication, social interaction, and daily living activities.
- Support clients in community integration and participation in recreational and educational activities.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide training and support in implementing behavior intervention strategies at home.
- Attend regular team meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral and developmental disorders is preferred.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help individuals with special needs
