Independent Living Partners is seeking for an experienced PCA in Rosemount, Minnesota.
We are looking for a competent personal care assistants to provide care for individuals in their everyday lives. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or individuals with challenges will make you a strong candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals receive their medication on time
- Support individuals who can’t move on their own
- Help individuals with eating, dressing, bathing, mobility, transfers, toilet use, positioning, personal hygiene etc.
- Assist individuals with meal preparations according to the individuals satisfaction & health restrictions
- Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
- Provide emotional support
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Communicate with individuals' care team about their care
- Attend appointments with individuals
- Advocate for individuals well-being and provide companionship during the process of care
- Maintain a clean and tidy room at all times
- Maintain professional relationships with patients' family members or friends
- Adhere to health & safety standards/goals
Skills
- Proven experience as personal care assistant
- Committed to health & safety
- Able to do housework and cooking
- Well-organized and reliable
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Positive and compassionate attitude
- Strong ethics
- Physical stamina
- CPR certified
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $19.25 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
