Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. Confer with clients, engineers, and building architects to understand a project
• Work independently on design and production of construction plans, specification and cost estimates
• Perform own CAD work
• Prepare graphic representations of proposed plans using various software and hand sketches
• Attend project meetings both internally and with clients
• Inspect landscape and hardscape portion of projects to ensure that it adheres to original plans
• Seek new work through marketing or by giving presentations
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) or Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture (BSLA)
• Licensed Landscape Architect or on track to obtain registration
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Lumion, Office Suite
• Knowledge of local plant material, hardscape construction detailing, and site grading
• Valid driver’s license required
