Description:

As a Project Manager at Allstate Floors, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of commercial flooring projects from initiation to completion. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a thorough understanding of project management principles.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of flooring projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and prepare cost estimates and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor work progress, resolve any issues, and ensure quality control.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting any potential risks or delays.
  • Foster a positive and productive working environment, motivating team members to achieve project goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and quality.
  • Requires travel between MD office and DC projects.
  • This is not a remote working position.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in project management within the commercial flooring or construction industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Procore).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
