• Overview* This will be a 12-bed treatment facility that will provide stabilization services for adults experiecing a mental health crisis. The environment and program interventions support a recovery-oriented approach to care, providing an opportunity for assessment/diagnosis, social services, family engagement and education for managing the acute symptoms of a mental health condition.

• Job Summary:*

Responsible for the assessment and delivery of counseling services to patients receiving mental health and/or addiction services.
May provide evaluation to the Emergency Room/medical units for referred patients to BHU. Provides therapy and case management services including assessment, individual, family and group therapy, family psychoeducation and discharge planning.

• Essential Duties:*
• Assesses the behavioral health needs of patients referred for treatment of mental health or addiction services.
• Assesses, communicates and documents risks related to potential harm to self or others.
• Provides a psychosocial assessment.
• Participates and implements discharge planning.
• Provides individual, family and group psychotherapy.

• Qualifications*
• License/Certifications:*
• Oregon LCSW or CSWA
• Experience:*
• Two (2) years experience in evaluation and clinical intervention with a mental health population preferred.
• Education:*
• Masters in Social Work
