SEEKING A MOTIVATED IT PROFESSIONAL TO BECOME AN INTEGRAL PART OF THIS COMPANY. THIS ROLE IS CENTERED ON UNDERSTANDING ALL FACETS OF ITS OPERATIONS, WITH A FOCUS ON SOFTWARE SYSTEMS.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES A PASSION FOR SMALL COMPANY OPERATIONS AND A DESIRE TO GRASP THE "BIG PICTURE", AND THE ABILITY TO TRIVE IN A TEAM-ORIENTED ATMOSPHERE.
BACKGROUND WORKING FOR EITHER A MANUFACTURING OR DISTRIBUTION COMPANY IS ALSO REQUIRED.
- BS Degree in Computer Science
- 2 plus years experience
- Must reside in Long Island
- This position provides support to management and staff, ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
- WORKING FLUENCY IN SQL DATABASE
- MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE IN CODING
- Interest in understanding and contributing to small company operations.
- General Knowlege of TCP/IP, DHCP, HTML/CSS, common internet standards.
- Abilitiy to learn new company ERP system and help train users
- Monitor staff needs and activity participate in solution design to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Operates within the companys software environment that incluses MS SQL, C#.NET, WINFORMS AND MVC, WinBatch, and Javascript.
- Excellent written and communication skills and works well with other departments
- Quickly learn and gain proficiency in key softwae packages including EPICOR PROPHET 21 ERP AND WebAllliance e-commerce and learn new companys software environment
