**Job Description**

**AECOM** is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to perform construction engineering and inspections on a variety of construction projects including railroad, bridge and highway in Connecticut. Come join our team on these exciting projects!

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications.

Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work.

Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.

Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.

Provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors.

**Qualifications**

Minimum Requirements:

BS in Engineering or related to Engineering Technology 2 years of demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Experience working within the transportation-related construction industry

Due to nature of work involved, US Citizenship is a requirement

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Willingness to work flexible schedules as needed for projects.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $75,000.00 - $105,000.00.
