Lakeshore Assisted Living & Memory Care is Hiring a Medication Aide Near Rockwall, TX

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in the administration of medication to residents in various care settings, ensuring their well-being and safety.

Duties:
- Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Document medication administration accurately in medical records
- Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed
- Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting such as hospice care, nursing home, home care, senior care, assisted living, or hospital
- Familiarity with Epic or other electronic medical records systems
- Knowledge of caregiving practices and medication administration protocols
- Understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
