Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Rockville, Maryland. This role involves delivering high-quality primary care, including annual physicals, sick and well visits, and managing a typical primary care patient load. You will be expected to see 16-20 patients per day, ensuring each receives the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments
  • Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses
  • Prescribing medications and treatments as necessary
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
  • Providing patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Collaborating with medical assistants and other support staff to deliver efficient patient care
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year post-graduate experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care setting
  • Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Maryland
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to function autonomously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable seeing 16-20 patients per day
