A. General Description:
In this role, your primary focus will be on fulfilling the organization’s data and analytics requirements. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining robust data extraction and reporting processes, encompassing SQL query writing, stored procedures, views, and SSIS packages. Additionally, you will contribute to ensuring data quality, crafting technical documentation, and undertaking various data stewardship responsibilities. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in offering end-user support, diagnosing issues, implementing solutions, and documenting procedures.

Personal contacts are with all levels of National Office staff. The purpose of the contact is to determine user programming and data output requirements, diagnose software and hardware problems, and coordinate installations and other projects. Contacts may also be made with outside vendors regarding information technology. You will work closely with ASHA’s Data Architect and Software Development Team to create schedules, set performance thresholds, and control project scope. The incumbent works closely with Business Analysts to develop user requirements and specifications and to conduct application testing.

Responsibilities at this level are predicated on a degree of independence and freedom from supervisory control. The individual is free to follow his/her own judgment in structuring and developing assigned programming projects following Information Systems programming and methodologies and in accordance with Web and Information Systems quality assurance standards.
The individual reports to the Director of Software Development who monitors technical performance and provides necessary coaching. The individual takes direction from the Director of Software Development and Data Architect for assignment of tasks, implementation of projects, establishment of work priorities, the review project requests to provide level-of-effort and scheduling estimates, and to identify personal and professional development goals.
Completed work is reviewed for its effectiveness in meeting user requirements, accuracy of estimated time frames and issue resolutions, and achievement of productive and harmonious relationships in coordinating the projects with technical staff, consultants, users, and management.
