**Overview**

Join our dental team as a skilled Dental Assistant and contribute to providing exceptional dental care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled individual who is passionate about assisting in dental procedures and in ensuring the comfort of our patients. We utilize digital xrays and a digtial scanner for dental work and other orthodontic needs. If you are detail-oriented, compassionate and eager to contribute to a positive patient experience, we encourage you to apply for this position

**Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and dental equipment

- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

- Assist and support hygienists and front desk in various office tasks

- Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare

- Take digital X-rays

- Maintain accurate patient records using Carestream software

**Skills:**

- Comfortable using computers for software and digital scanning

- Knowledge of infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

- Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred

Job Type: Full-time
