Park in Rochester, NY. This position will support the new Light Blocking business for a textile specialty coating and finishing line
in Rochester, NY.
1. Operate roll-to-roll machine fabric coating lines (unwind/convey/wind)
2. Operate material handling equipment (fork trucks, hoists, cranes)
3. Provide material handling support to operations team (raw materials, finished goods, work in process)
4. Accurate inventory control
5. Take quality test for incoming raw materials and final coated product
6. Perform analytical tests on prepared solutions
7. Operate pressure vessels and mixers
8. Clean process equipment and work area
9. Identify waste and drive improvements to reduce waste and improve quality
10. Adhere to Kodak safety standards
1. Strong mechanical aptitude
2. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (cause/effect)
3. Familiarity with basic quality tools (lean, six sigma, etc.)
4. Familiarity with web conveying machines
5. Dependable/Flexible
6. Good communication and listening skills
7. Organized and detail oriented
8. Good team player and willing to learn
9. High School Diploma or GED
1. Work experience in fast paced manufacturing environment
2. Web conveyance (wind, unwind, steering, tension, etc.)
3. Delivery equipment (filters, pumps, etc.)
4. Coating experience preferred
5. Fork truck experience preferred / training available
1. Bending/twisting/pulling/pushing
2. Standing for > 4 hrs. per day
3. Lifting up to 40 lbs
4. Operation of power trucks (including forklift)
5. Work schedule is days
