We are currently hiring for an Environmental Services Worker at our Rochester, NY location.
This is a full time position - 40 hours a week, 5:30am-2:00pm, Monday-Friday with rotating weekends.
As an Environmental Services Worker you will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the complete facility which includes general cleaning, floor care, carpet care, window cleaning, dusting and removal of the trash and recycling, etc. This position is under the general supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor.
Responsibilities:

• Assure windows are cleaned and maintained
• Strip and wax facility floors
• Vacuum facility carpets
• Perform periodic carpet cleaning and extraction as needed
• Perform discharge cleaning
• Dust all surfaces; this involves both high and low dusting areas
• Empty trash bins and remove trash and recyclables
• Ensure maintenance and stock of all cleaning equipment and supplies
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms within the facility including toilets, sinks, and floors, etc.
• Ensure timely replenishment of soap and paper products
• Perform work in a manner that ensures the safety of self and others
• Must demonstrate an ability to balance multiple tasks while maintaining effective customer service
• Must maintain flexible availability in order to meet organizational needs
• Must use personal protective equipment when high dusting or using any chemicals
• Must demonstrate an ability to use and maintain equipment properly
• Compliance with all regulatory requirements and Hillside Family of Agency rules and expectations must be demonstrated on the job

Requirements:

• 1 years of Environmental Services experience
• Proficiency with understanding written and verbal instructions, converting instructions into tasks and completing tasks must be demonstrated on the job
• Proficiency with office productivity programs and software, organization skills, tact and priority setting must be demonstrated on the job

 $15.00 Minimum Rate per hour, $20.23 Maximum Rate per hour, based on experience.
