Safety and Compliance

• Execute tasks in accordance with company safety protocols, ensuring the secure and uninterrupted operation of all machinery while promptly reporting any unsafe conditions.
• Lead and advocate for health and safety practices in accordance with regulatory agencies and company policies.
• Complete work assignments safely and within specified timeframes.

Equipment Maintenance

• Maintain equipment in proper working order.
• Develop and sustain a thorough understanding of the process, equipment, controls, and warehouse areas.
• Load materials onto flatbed trucks following proper loading procedures.
• Inspect outgoing loads for quality, integrity, and accuracy.
• Handle incoming materials, products, parts/tools, and equipment, inspecting each shipment for potential damage, missing information, and documenting/reporting as necessary.
• Replenish warehouse stock and rotate items as required, utilizing appropriate warehouse equipment.
• Monitor, inspect, and complete equipment inspection reports.

Maintenance and Adjustments

• Perform preventative maintenance on designated mechanical systems.
• Physically adjust bundles, if necessary, to meet machine specifications, using appropriate tools as required to reshape bundles.
• Assist fellow team members as needed.

Communication and Collaboration

• Communicate equipment issues to the department lead and/or supervisor.
• Use RF scanners to maintain accurate inventory records and track inventory movements.
• Provide ground guidance to drivers when positioning trailers for loading/tarping.
• Collaborate with production operators, production supervisors, engineers, or other stakeholders during troubleshooting, equipment issues, and repairs.

Work Environment and General Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Regularly and predictably attend work on-site according to the posted schedule.
• Promptly report any suspected security incidents and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Diploma from a trade or technical school.
• 2 years of experience operating fork trucks (powered industrial trucks).
• 2 years of warehouse experience, with a preference for experience in automated processes.
• Proficiency in mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $21.50 - $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
