Job Details
  • Deliver top-notch care to feline and canine patients through physical exams, diagnosis, treatment, and personalized preventive care.
  • Apply a problem-based approach to formulate comprehensive problem lists, differential diagnoses, diagnostic plans, and targeted treatments.
  • Concisely document all patient information, including exams, treatments, client interactions, and diagnoses, following practice conventions.
  • Perform both routine and complex surgeries, such as spays/neuters, soft tissue, abdominal explorations, and mass removals.
  • Conduct full dental care, including examinations, radiograph evaluations, extractions, and oral surgeries.
  • Create and manage day-hospitalization treatment plans, coordinating with referral hospitals as needed for overnight care and seamless patient transition.
Requirements
  • Doctorate Hold a DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited school.
  • Licensure Possess an active veterinary license, current DEA and controlled substance licenses, and USDA Category Accreditation (or obtain within two months of hire).
  • Surgical Proficiency Demonstrate proficiency in anesthesia and routine surgeries, including spays, neuters, mass removals, and dentals for dogs and cats.
  • Empathy Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor in emotional or stressful situations.
