Operational Management:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our Indian grocery store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management. This role requires leadership, organizational abilities, and the capacity to drive sales and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
• Manage inventory levels, placing orders, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Implement and maintain store policies and procedures.

Customer Service

• Ensure an exceptional shopping experience for customers, addressing queries and resolving complaints promptly.
• Train and mentor staff to provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.

Staff Supervision

• Recruit, hire, and train new employees.
• Schedule and manage staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Sales and Marketing

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve store targets.
• Plan and oversee promotional activities, special events, and seasonal sales.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed.

Financial Management

• Manage the store’s budget, including expenses, revenues, and profit margins.
• Handle cash management, including daily reconciliations and bank deposits.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Merchandising

• Oversee product placement and visual merchandising to maximize sales.
• Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and stocked with a wide variety of Indian groceries and products.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure the store complies with all health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and staff training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a store manager or in a similar retail management role.
• Ability to gain strong knowledge of Indian grocery products.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in retail management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Spanish Speaking

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
