Role Description

The Scheduler utilizes tools and processes inside Epicor ERP/MRP system to plan and schedule for Pre-weigh, Compounding, and 20 Filling lines, coordinating with customer service and purchasing departments to meet company objective sand optimize plant performance. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Apply proven planning methods to develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while maximizing efficiency.
• Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules and one to three month load plans. 
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely availability of materials and resources. 
• Utilize MRP systems to track inventory levels, material delivery dates, and maintain accurate production records.
• Work closely with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels and minimize lead times.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to resolve issues and minimize delays. 
• Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize work orders based on production requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and analysis of production data.
• Develop KPI metrics for schedule adherence and OTIF, provide regular reporting to executive team and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations management in a manufacturing environment, preferably in batch process manufacturing.
• 2 years experience with MRP system and production planning tools.
• Familiarity with mechanical equipment and manufacturing process. 
• Ability to fabricate and assemble production schedules that align with capacity and demand.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and lean manufacturing practices
• 3 years of relevant Supply Chain/Operations Management experience or Bachelor’s degree in a business-related degree required.
• Must have experience working in an established ERP environment, Epicor knowledge a plus.
