Responsibilities :

As a Press Brake Operator, your main responsibilities will include :

1. Operating press brake machinery to bend, form, straighten and cut a variety of materials.

2. Reading and interpreting blueprints and plans to understand the specifications of the product.

3. Measuring and marking materials for cutting or shaping using tools such as calipers and micrometers.

4. Setting up and adjusting machines according to the specifications in the blueprints.

5. Inspecting the finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.

6. Performing regular maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

7. Adhering to all safety regulations and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

8. Collaborating with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality.

9. Documenting work processes and maintaining records for quality control purposes.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Press Brake Operator position will have the following qualifications :

1. A high school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in machining or a related field is preferred.

2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.

3. Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and other machining tools.

4. Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and a keen eye for detail.

5. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

8. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

9. A commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.
