Curtis Stout is Hiring an Outside Sales Representative Near Ridgeland, MS

The job responsibilities of our Outside Sales Representative include, but are not limited to, the following:

-Work with architects, engineers and distribution partners to specify lighting, control and electrical products for jobs out for public bid as well as private efforts

-Work with Distributor partners to increase sales and awareness of represented manufacturer's product lines

-Provide accurate pricing and product recommendations on job and quotation requests

-Keep an up-to-date, working knowledge of all product lines and their respective product offerings and pricing

-Effectively communicate with customers on job pricing, product availability and product specifications. Conduct staff and customer training sessions on current product lines.

-Regional travel that includes attending annual manufacturer and industry training events as needed

-Represent the company at local and regional trade events and promotional activities

-Accurately cross competitor’s products to competitive and equivalent equals

-Negotiate competitive pricing agreements between manufacturers and the company

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,064.00 - $54,632.00 per year
