East Ridge Middle School

East Ridge Middle School is a diverse school built on the pillars of engaging, relating, motivating, and serving each and every child in the school building.

We serve students in 6th-8th grade and challenge those students to become better versions of themselves each day. From academics to athletics, the students at ERMS will be engaged year-round.

About ERMS Athletics

Athletics are an important part of any adolescent experience from learning new physical skills and sportsmanship to simply enjoying the thrill of activity and competition.

Many students play sports for the sheer love of the game. At East Ridge Middle School, on top of the thrill of competing and having fun with friends, students experience benefits that support their academic, social, and emotional growth in middle school.

Our coaches work together to ensure our students are performing in their academics and extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

Non-faculty Coaches and Classified Employee Coaches must complete the NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches courses prior to assuming the position.
