Mariano's in Ukrainian Village is seeking Friendly faces as our cashiers and Self Checkout Attendants. Being a cashier consist of checking out customers and also informing them of any sales or discounts in our store. We are looking for a few part time team members that have flexible hours and are able to work weekends. Our primary focus is to create an uplifting customer experience through exceptional service.

• Cashier/Checker is responsible for being visible and actively greeting, engaging and assisting customers. Assist customers at checkout and bag groceries
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Minimum Position Qualifications:
• Customer service experience
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Desired Previous Job Experience:
• Customer service experience
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.25 per hour
