Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in double-entry bookkeeping, data entry, and accounts receivable processes.

Accounts Receivable Responsibilities:

• Process transactions accurately and timely
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate reporting of accounts and aging reports
• Generate invoices and account statements
• Perform clerical tasks related to accounting functions
• Process daily deposits
• Assist in month end closing
• Maintain Files and Documentation

Accounts Payable Responsibilities:

• Review all invoices for approvals and purchase orders
• Audit and process credit card bills
• Enter invoices correctly into Foundation Software
• Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
• Process payments weekly

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping principles
• At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable in a mid-size company
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to analyze financial information effectively
• Attention to detail and organized
• Ability to communicate and maintain confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
