As a Staff Accountant , you will work on a wide variety of engagements under the supervision of different accounting professionals.
- Engage and serve clients from various industries
- Communicate with project in-charges and clients
- Develop technical accounting skills while performing audits of financial statements
- Prepare audit checklists and adjust journal entries
- Gain business writing experience while preparing financial statements alongside clients
- Prepare and organize workpapers for client files
- Complete moderately complex tax returns
- Perform bookkeeping tasks for various clients
- Perform other essential duties as needed
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. Masters preferred
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel and occasional out-of-town travel
We also offer a 4 day workweek including a flexible remote work day. The workweek consist of 4 9 hour days.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
