- Responsible for the overall cleaning experience of the store
- Sweeping and mopping floors along with sanitizing bathrooms
- Cleaning sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
- Restocking supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
- Emptying all trash cans and replacing liners, cleaning receptacles as necessary
- Dusting and cleaning dressing rooms, store fixtures, office desks, furniture, etc.
- Cleaning windowsills and windows.
- Maintaining janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
- Responsible for monitoring inventory, cleaning supplies and paper products, for specific assigned work areas; re-supply when needed.
- Understanding and demonstrating the proper use of safety practices & ensure standards are maintained for the department.
- Actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established company policies and procedures.
- Six months of custodial experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills i.e. ability to communicate positively and consistently with the customer, co-workers and supervisor; delivering professional consistent results.
