Position Summary:
Daily cleaning of government buildings in a manner that will maintain and meet all facility level service standards. The Janitorial Worker must have a valid driver license to transport his/her teammates from building to building. Must present a clean, neat, and professional appearance. Must be able to work unsupervised/alone and be highly dependable. Employee shall accomplish all janitorial services required in the Statement of Work (SOW).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience Desirable:
Janitorial experience preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
Special Skills/Abilities:
Interpersonal: Relate to a variety of clients and staff.
Written Communications: Ability to use basic writing skills to keep an inventory log.
Oral Communications: Ability to understand English.
Equipment: Ability to use vacuum and other janitorial equipment as needed.
Other Qualifications or Requirements:
Mental Effort:
Ability to work independently and successfully coordinate the activities of the job
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and ability to withstand strenuous activity. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Visual Effort:
Well-lighted office/warehouse environment requiring an average amount of visual effort.
Safety:
TNC will provide a safe work environment according to the TNC Emergency Plan, compliance agencies and other safety policies and guidelines.
