Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the receiving operations at the distribution center, ensuring that all inbound shipments are received, processed, and stored accurately and efficiently.
- Manage a team of receiving associates, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inbound shipments.
- Ensure that all receiving processes are compliant with safety, quality, and operational standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, logistics, and quality, to identify and resolve operational issues and improve processes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processes.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for receiving operations, including productivity, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure that all equipment, tools, and materials used in receiving operations are properly maintained and stored.
- Maintain the pick path with appropriate inventory stock, ensuring that orders can be fulfilled quickly and accurately.
