Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a brand new apartment community in Richfield, UT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and all legal requirements are met. This position includes both management of the office and maintenance of the property, time will be split between duties. This property will open in the Summer of 2024.
Duties:
- Manage tenant relations, including responding to inquiries and addressing concerns promptly
- Conduct property inspections and coordinate & perform maintenance and repairs
- Oversee rent collection and lease enforcement
- Maintain accurate records of property-related activities
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other legal requirements
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and property owners as needed
- perform apartment turnovers, repairs, grounds maintenance and overall upkeep on a multi-unit property
Requirements:
- Experience in property maintenance and property management
- Knowledge of LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credits) and Fair Housing regulations
- Strong data entry skills for maintaining property records
- Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to property management
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction
- Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally
- Understanding of basic property law principles
- Experience with a lease up of a new property preferred, but not required
