Job Details
There are multiple openings for this position and this position provides a telecommuting benefit allowing the employee to reside anywhere in the United States, but requires travel to the Richfield headquarters at least once every fiscal quarter.
What you will do
- You will analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan the installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.
- Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Monitor functioning of equipment to ensure systems operate in conformance with specifications.
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle - architecture, design, development, MVP, and Dev Ops.
- Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt it to new hardware, upgrade interfaces and improve performance.
- Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in any IT, computer science, computer information systems, electrical engineering, engineering management, or a related technology field plus 5 or more years of progressive, post-bachelor's degree experience with development and deployment of applications, using version control software, such as Git, and 5 or more years using SQL.
- Experience must include at least one year of working in an Agile environment.
In the alternative, Best Buy will accept a master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in any IT, computer science, computer information systems, electrical engineering, engineering management, or a related technology field, plus three (3) years of experience with development and deployment of applications, using version control software, such as Git, and using SQL, and at least one year of working in an Agile environment.
