STAFF HIRING CRITERIA / QUALIFICATION

All supported Living Positions require minimum staff member qualifications, skills, or education to ensure that our Direct Care Personnel provide our consumers with the highest-quality support possible.

1. The skill, training, or education to do the following :

a) Establish and maintain constructive and appropriate relationships with consumers.

c) Certified in first aid and CPR

2. Have a current and valid license and certificates, which are legally required to provide services

3. Responsible for implementation of the Consumer’s individual support plan.

a) Direct care Staff / Support coach shall participate in;

b) The development of the client’s support plan and following individualized service plan / schedule

c) Train consumers to acquire their Individual Program Plan (IPP) / Individual Support Plan (ISP) Objectives, assisting consumers with their personal needs / care and involving them in outside community activities.

d) Train consumers to follow all medication administration procedures and maintain appropriate documentation.

e) Document notes on each training objective

f) Follow all safety regulations

g) Accompany consumers for their medical appointments
