Currently, we are seeking an energetic and certified Zumba Instructor to join our dynamic team at the Bluestem Community in Rhome, TX.

Job Description: As a Zumba Instructor at Bluestem Community, you will lead high-energy Zumba classes, providing a fun, invigorating, and inclusive workout experience for participants of all fitness levels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dance and fitness, possess infectious enthusiasm, and have the ability to create a vibrant, party-like atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and energized.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct energetic and engaging Zumba classes, ensuring a fun and effective workout for all participants.
• Choreograph dance routines to the latest Zumba music and ensure a diverse mix of styles to cater to a wide audience.
• Monitor participants' movements to ensure safety and provide modifications to accommodate different fitness levels.
• Foster a lively, supportive, and inclusive class environment, encouraging participants to enjoy the workout and stay motivated.
• Stay updated on the latest Zumba trends, music, and techniques to keep classes fresh, dynamic, and appealing.
• Promote the benefits of Zumba for physical health, mental well-being, and social enjoyment within the community.
• Build and maintain positive relationships within the community, encouraging a culture of health, happiness, and connectivity.

Requirements:

• Zumba Certification from a recognized Zumba training program.
• Additional certification in CPR/First Aid.
• Proven experience as a Zumba Instructor, with the ability to lead classes with energy and charisma.
• Strong sense of rhythm and ability to choreograph dance routines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to create a fun, positive, and inclusive class atmosphere.
• Knowledge of safe dance and exercise practices to minimize the risk of injury.
• Organizational skills for managing class schedules and promoting classes within the community.
• Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to offer classes at times convenient for community members.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Opportunities for additional earnings through special events, private sessions, or larger class sizes.
