Addison Group is Hiring a Collections Clerk Near Reston, VA
Our client is looking to add a Collections Specialist to their team! This role is in person and has room for growth, as well as compensation around $55K (depending on experience).
Title: Collections Specialist
Location: Reston, VA
Compensation: $55K
Industry: Commercial Real Estate
Keys to Hire:
- Comfortable with routine phone calls/outreach to delinquent accounts
- Has experience with AR/collections previously
- Able to coordinate customer billing and collection activities
- No medical or call center collections
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and process payments as well as send out invoices for collections
- Conduct 150 calls/week to outstanding accounts
- Support any annual or interim financial audits
- Assist with bookkeeping duties and AR invoicing
- Process ACH and wire transfer payments to customer accounts
- Reconcile customer and account transactions as well as discrepancies
Requirements:
- Must possess 2 years of AR or collections experience
- Proficient in Excel, (AX experience a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Associate's Degree (finance or accounting related degree a plus) and 1 years relative experience.
