**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join our Physiatry Private Practice. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative and clinical support in a medical office setting.

**Responsibilities:**

- Coordinate front office operations (mail processing, reception duties, etc.).

- Assist healthcare providers with setting up medical procedures and examinations.

- Perform basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations.

- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.

- Schedule patient appointments, verify insurance benefits, collect payments, enter charges and issue receipts.

- Register patients and ensure that accurate information is collected and that patients are made aware of office policies.

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

**Skills:**

- Proficient in providing medical administrative support.

- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

- Understanding of patient service principles for quality care delivery.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
