Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Representative to join our team. The Safety Representative will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Duties:

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
- Provide safety training to employees on various topics including OSHA regulations and emergency response procedures
- Collaborate with management to address safety concerns and improve overall safety performance
- Maintain records of safety-related incidents, training sessions, and compliance activities

Experience:

- Proven experience in occupational health and safety practices within renewable energy
- Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
- Familiarity with compliance management and workers' compensation processes
- Understanding of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) principles
- Proficiency in safety management software is a plus
- Strong background in risk management and construction management
