Position Description: Under supervision, perform engineering and testing assignments with clear and specified objectives and involves conventional types of plans and specifications. Apply sound engineering judgment. Perform as a technical contributor on projects. Interface with engineering peers, senior engineers, and program managers to receive tasks. Work within a team to promptly complete tasks. Communicate effectively to accomplish assignments and support others in accomplishing their assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical component design for rocket propulsion systems using CAD models
- Participate in design reviews
- Conduct structural and thermal FEA on rocket motor components
- Prepare engineering drawings
- Participate in hardware assembly and testing activities
- Participate in customer meetings and reviews
Requirements:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship)
- Bachelor of Science required in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- Minimum of our (4) years of mechanical engineering experience
- Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Working knowledge of CAD software
- Understanding of finite element analysis
- Aptitude for working with mechanical and electrical systems
- Must be able to travel approximately 20% of the time.

Salary Range: $93,554 - $172,489
