Description
Remington Seeds is seeking an experienced administrative professional with three or more years of payroll experience to join our HR Team. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for managing biweekly payroll for 700 – 1,200 employees using Paylocity HR & Payroll. The successful candidate’s experience and accomplishments will clearly demonstrate the highest levels of customer service, teamwork, integrity, and mutual respect.
The Payroll Administrator assists the Human Resource Manager and the HR Team in providing support in the areas of payroll preparation, validation, and processing for all employees. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Initiate, monitor and complete employee onboarding process.
· Maintain payroll information by collecting documentation and entering changes.
· Import time records for 43 multistate locations from the timekeeping system into Paylocity.
· Review time records for accuracy and make any necessary corrections while working closely with Location Managers and support staff.
· Biweekly, bonus and special request payroll processing. Ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
· Manage compliance activities including I-9 completion, record retention and disposal, multiple worksite reporting, and adherence to related company policies.
· Research and answer payroll related questions and concerns.
· Manage pay card program.
· Produce and distribute payroll reports.
Requirements
Prerequisites
· High school diploma required. Associates Degree or higher preferred.
· Previous payroll and timekeeping experience.
· Strong communicator (verbal, written, presentation)
· Microsoft Office experience, advanced MS Excel preferred.
· Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.
· Humility, willingness to ask questions, eager to learn
· Team player.
