About us
The Red Door ALF is looking to expand our team and bring on an experienced caregiver on for possibly every weekend, Saturday and Sunday. THIS IS NOT A FULL TIME JOB. Our Community is a small 4 bed assisted living. All females. We are located in Reisterstown Maryland 21136. Although this is going to be a LIVE-IN CAREGIVER POSITION, you will not be living in yet, so please have reliable transportation for now. First aid certification and CMT is must. Our ideal person is someone who is patience, reliable and loves working with people. If you have those important qualities, we can work out the rest as a team. If you are just looking for PRN and would like to get on our call list, this something we can also work out.
Duties of caregiver:
Assist residents with activities of daily living. These can include:
- Dressing
- Transfers
- Grooming
- Activities
- Assistance with bathing (if needed).
Responsibilities:
- Prepare 3 meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines.
- Administer medication to residents according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions.
- Implement and follow established systems and protocols for providing care to residents.
- Assist with heavy lifting and transferring residents as required.
- Provide emotional support and assistance to residents.
- Ensure that resident rights are respected and upheld at all times.
- Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
Experience:
- Caregiving plus 1 year
- No criminal history
