Position Purpose

To ensure the companies IT strategies are implemented and maintained while supporting the business and internal customers with all IT needs.

***This is a hands-on IT position supporting our new manufacturing facility with hardware, software, network setup, forecasting, budgeting, etc. In addition, this position will support our remote North American employees with hardware & software***

Requirements

• Minimum 2 year of professional experience in similar jobs
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS & Clients; MS Office products.
• Experience and/or knowledge in administering various network concepts: e-mails, firewalls, client-servers, network security, network protocols, etc.
• Experience in maintaining and repairing PCs and printers
• Problem-solving attitude
• Knowledge of Network fundamentals

Key Responsibilities

Testing New Software Functionality and User Training:

• Test new software features, ensuring they meet user requirements.
• Comprehensive training to end-users on the functionality and optimal utilization of new software.

Hardware and Software Installation and Configuration:

• install and configure computer hardware, software, operating systems, network components, and peripheral devices.
• seamless integration of printers and scanners into the network environment.

System and Network Configuration/Monitoring:

• Configure, monitor and proactively maintain computer systems and networks, optimizing their performance and reliability.
• Timely updates and security patches to enhance system health.

Swift Response to Service Issues and Requests:

• Promptly address service issues and user requests to minimize operational disruptions.
• Efficient troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems.

User Account Setup:

• Set up and configure accounts for new users, granting them access to the necessary resources while maintaining security protocols.

Equipment Ordering, Setup, Repair and Replacement:

• Conduct expert diagnostics and perform necessary repairs on equipment, minimizing downtime.
• Order and setup equipment for new hires and existing employees as needed.
