What You Will Be Doing

The identifeye HEALTH Internship Program provides an opportunity for students and early career professionals to gain valuable industry experience, allowing them to develop technical skills, hone professional etiquette, learn from industry leaders, identify potential career paths and apply their academic knowledge.

Interns will have the opportunity to contribute to the exciting work happening within identifeye, build long lasting professional relationships with our team and most importantly - have fun!

As a Finance Intern with identifeye HEALTH, you will have the exciting opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world financial operations, work closely with industry leaders and contribute to meaningful projects that drive business success in a startup environment. You will work closely with identifeye’s leadership team to maintain and update business and financial models, extracting key insights that will inform strategic decision-making. Through this process, you will develop strong data analysis and financial modeling skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. 

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be to:

• Maintain, update/refine existing financial and business models with new data, market insights, and information from third party discussions
• Build valuation models based on comparables and DCF
• Summarize key information from revenue, value proposition and valuation models
• Interpret financial and business data to identify trends, patterns, and model various scenarios 
• Translate complex financial information into easy-to-understand insights, presentation content/data visualization and recommendations
• Assist in ad hoc financial projects and initiatives

Internship roles are temporary, and will run for approximately 12 weeks. This role is based around a full-time schedule of 40 hours/week. Start date will be asap and end date can be flexible. 

What We Are Looking For

Baseline Skills, Experiences, & Attributes:

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field. Masters-level or advanced degree preferred; or Bachelor's degree with relevant internship or industry experience 
• Demonstrated interest and/or focus in the areas of financial analysis, valuation modeling, and data-driven decision-making
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and effectively
• Proficiency in Google Workplace and Microsoft Office suite for financial modeling, data analysis and data visualizations
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the team’s success
• Strong ethics and integrity, with a commitment to upholding professional standards and maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior relevant internship or industry experience
• Particular interest in life sciences, biotech and/or medical device industries

What We Offer

Anticipated Salary Range: $38/hour to $50/hour. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, operational needs, potential employee qualifications and other considerations permitted by law.
