Summary: To be responsible for maintaining all common areas in a clean and attractive condition, turning apartments between residents, and other related duties as defined by the Business Manager.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Cleaning the Leasing Center, Recreation Building, pool area, exercise facility, restrooms, and jacuzzi area. Including trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning of exterior and interior windows, entryways, and stairwells, and removing leaves, debris, and cobwebs from corners and recesses of each building.Cleaning laundry rooms, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, wiping down machines and other surfaces, and interiors and exteriors of windows.Patrol of grounds each morning for removal of litter.Sweeping and/or blowing off all sidewalks and parking areas, including dumpster areas—moving garbage bins to garbage pickup area on designated days.Exterior painting, exterior repair, pool, and spa maintenance.Interior apartment cleaning and interior apartment painting to turn units for new move-ins.Maintain cleanliness of community to LPR standards.Successfully participate in the safety training program.Ability to work with people of all ethnic and religious backgrounds and understand resident problems.Means of reliable transportation to and from work by the weekly schedule.Must be reliable and bondable.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Vacation time is accrued at the rate of 0.0385 hours for every hour worked up to 80 hours worked each pay period, capped at 120 hours during the first five years of employment.
